Kelsey Carlston

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Gonzaga University. I graduated with a PhD in Economics from the University of Utah in May 2022.

After growing up in rural Appalachia and then moving to Southern California, I became very interested in regional differences in economic outcomes. My current research is on the causes and effects of geographic patterns of intergenerational mobility. I teach health economics, principles of microeconomics, and econometrics.
